Our company went back to work one week after the start of the war. We are a small audit company from Kharkiv focused on voluntary audit and accounting outsourcing. One year before COVID, we began to digitalize our internal processes and what perfect timing it was as once the lock-down started, we got our laptops and went to work from home.

The war has hit us very hard; no words can describe the level of stress all our people have experienced. For a week, we hid in basements and bomb shelters. Then our technical support engineer called and asked us what was next. It was as if the switch turned on.

Unfortunately, most of our clients have to stop their business because Kharkiv is in a war zone, or rather, Kharkiv is a war zone. Similar to Izium and Mariupol, our city is being wiped off the face of the earth. This is the typical revenge of miserable people simply because they have convinced themselves that we should rejoice in the so-called “Russian world”. But no, we are citizens of a great and free European country.

Clients from the IT industry and logistics remain operational, but we continue to work in all focus areas and for those our clients who are currently unable to work. This is what concerns outsourcing.

Unfortunately, the audit sector has stopped completely, leaving projects that cannot be continued unfinished. Similarly to outsourcing, our audit clients are located mostly in Kharkiv and Kharkiv Region, along with Sloviansk in the Donetsk Region and temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk Region. I hope that we will return very soon and finish all the work.

We have opened our channels to give advice and consultations to everyone who needs it. It is crucial now to comply with the rules regarding charitable contributions, as many people collect donations using their own banking cards; I understand that it is impossible to register a charity organization in the eastern part of Ukraine now, but these issues still need to be addressed, possibly, through cooperation with existing organizations, as this is our reputation. Now we are showing the whole world what we are capable of.

We provide these consultations free of charge.

I believe that we will rebuild everything and we need to keep our teams as much as possible. Humanity is a new currency. This is really the treasure our enemy is unfamiliar with. And thanks to the humanity of Ukrainians and the whole civilized world, we will win!
