My story

Hi there! My name is Maksym Tereshchenko. I own the “Rockstar” musical instrument store.

Before the war, I had a successful business, doing star concerts, helping children and adults with musical instruments, and even making coffee! But everything stopped abruptly on February 24. The war began.

My mother and brother stayed in the occupied territories. I can’t see or hear my mother right now. I will never see my brother again. He unfortunately died during the occupation.

On the first day I was in the military registration and enlistment office, but without military experience, I am in the reserve. I decided to help the Territorial Defence of Zaporizhzhia and find 200 sets of ammunition for them. Body armor, first aid kit, clothes, sleeping bags etc. But all this was unattainable. I found a team that decided to do it on their own. We found a workshop, bought iron, fabric and started making our own products. We have actually been able to provide ammunition to about 100 guys. Another 100 are needed. The cost of 1 set (bulletproof vest, first aid kit, clothes, sleeping bag, karrimat) is about 10,000 hryvnias. So we need to find 1 million hryvnias.
