Radio «Ми з України» (“We are from Ukraine”)

 Good afternoon, we are from Ukraine!

 «Ми з України» (“We are from Ukraine”) is the name of the radio we make for all Ukrainians, wherever they are now!

 Like many of you, we lost our jobs, but decided not to give up and do what we do best – radio!

 We are an aspiring radio station, launched in early March this year, a few days after the russian invasion.

 Only Ukrainian music is broadcast on the radio “We are from Ukraine”, most of the songs are patriotic hits!

 We make news, we select only the best Ukrainian music. We make programs and podcasts about new Ukrainian music, talk about performers who defend Ukraine at war, collect tips on how to survive difficult times, how to help those who need it and how not to lose your spirit!  We support authors and journalists who offer their projects.

 The idea of ​​the radio is to popularize Ukrainian music, culture, and Ukrainians and support those who are now alone away from their Motherland.

 The mission of radio is to help Ukrainians survive these dark times wherever they are and to help rebuild Ukraine after the war.

There are only three of us at the moment: Andrew, Olya and Michael.  Now most Ukrainians are volunteers. So are we, radio ”We are from Ukraine” is a non-profit and non-political project.  However, let’s be honest – sometimes we want to eat, too 🙂 Weare also raising money for studio equipment for operational work as we have only 1 microphone, which was lent to us by a friend. We work in any conditions, even during air raid sirens (In the photo Olya is broadcasting the news in her bathroom).

 We are very pleased that we are being listened to abroad and in Ukraine, even in the occupied territories.

 If we manage to support you in this extremely difficult time, then we are doing our job well!
