Hi, we are a Wine Love restaurant. We were called “Kyiv Paris” for the atmosphere of creativity, freedom, and love.
The war divided us into “before” and “after”.
Until February 24, we were inspired to open new gastronomic horizons for Kyiv citizens and guests of the capitalю We hold chef’s dinners and wine tastings, taught people to understand wine in their own wine school, created, experimented with tastes, and fascinated others.
Now we continue to broadcast all this creativity and love to about 1,000 Kyiv citizens a day. But as volunteers on the restaurant front.
Since the beginning of the war, our boss Katya Tkachuk and her team have been providing hot lunches to 5 Kyiv hospitals:
- Alexander Clinical Hospital
- Military hospital
- Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center
- Ohmatdit
- Kyiv City Clinical Hospital # 17
- As well as Ukrzaliznytsia and local territorial defense.
In one month, with the help of volunteer organizations, professional associations and suppliers (who help with Wine Love products, packaging and kitchen utensils), we were able to increase the number of prepared portions from 200 to 1,000 per day.
The Wine Love kitchen is now running at 250% of its capacity. And the volunteer team has grown from 7 people to 20.
Our regular guest Katya has now become an administrator, and our dear waiter Serhiy and a dozen other caring people cook, wash dishes, pack, receive, and ship.
So we need your help to continue to cook and be able to provide at least some financial support to the team, which has been working 14 hours a day for free all month, as well as to pay utility bills.
After the war, we will also need funds to return the restaurant to normal activities, on food purchases, salary, rent, and utility bills. Approximately UAH 500,000.
With boundless gratitude to all those who support us, we continue to work on the restaurant front. Let’s win together!
