Hello!
My name is Oksana, I am the owner of Zhu-Zhu shop, a small family-owned production of natural chocolate made from three simple ingredients: cocoa beans, cocoa butter, and honey produced at our own apiary.
These ingredients are combined with the berries that we personally collect and dry, and nuts.
Our production facility is located in the city of Nizhyn.
The city was in an active combat zone from the very start of the war.
In the first days of the war, we gave all the chocolate we had at the warehouse to our soldiers.
Before the war, we had contracts the supply contracts signed for our products with a well-known Ukrainian supermarket chain, we built new facilities intending to increase production and promote our products.
On the 35th day of the war, a russian aircraft bombed the city. Our neighbor’s house was completely destroyed. It was only 100 m away from us. This incident affected my daughter and me emotionally, and we could not stay there longer, so we left abroad.
Now, I am in Turin to acquire new experience in the chocolate industry in Italy. I want to enrich and partially.
After the troops withdrew from our region, the company resumed its operation.
Now, one employee and my husband run the business in Nizhyn.
We have the experience, the capacity, and the desire to support our defenders.
We plan to produce chocolate and energy bars for the front as it is both delicious and nutritious.
The production would require a chocolate melanger since we have none now, a device for grinding nuts, sunflower seeds, etc., and the funds to purchase ingredients.
We request support for this project because we want to be useful to our country.
